As an independent practice, we strive to keep the costs of our treatments as competitive as possible.
Below are the prices of some of our routine procedures.
We always recommend that your insure your pet to protect against unexpected bills and are happy to work with your insurance company at no extra cost.
Your vet will discuss the costs of all treatment options with you at the time of consultation and we have a range of payment options available.
We will review direct claims on a case by case basis so please discuss these with your vet.

Written Prescriptions
Here at Uxbridge Vets we understand that some medications may be sourced more cheaply via online retailers. We are therefore always happy to provide a private written prescription if requested.
Legally, we are only able to prescribe POM-Vs for animals “under our care”. To comply with this legislation, our policy is to re-examine these pets at least every six months, though this may vary in individual circumstances.
Controlled medications will only be prescribed for 28 days at a time and must be sent in its original form (not a scan or email copy)
Please note, that written prescriptions do incur a small fee of £19.50 and we ask that you give 48 hours notice when requesting prescriptions
Please note:
A prescription may not be appropriate if your pet is an in-patient or requires immediate treatment.
Certain drugs, for instance phenobarbitone, can only be supplied for one month at a time, by law.
On request our vets will gladly inform you of the price of any veterinary medicines we supply or answer any specific questions you may have regarding prescriptions.
We are legally prohibited to refund any returned medication.
